Warrington Brass is once again involved with the development of brass players.

In 2003, under the guidance of the then assistant conductor Ian Howarth, a junior section was re-introduced with the aim of developing young, new players and this has led to new players joining the Senior Band. As many bands will tell you, without this grass roots development, many bands would not survive.

However, the term 'Junior Section' should not be taken to mean a section exclusively for young people. Anyone with an interest in learning music is welcome - a number of our band members are parents who learnt alongside their children. If you would like to learn to play a brass instrument, or already play and want to further your skills, feel free to contact us through this website, or if you prefer to meet us in person, come along to one of our rehearsals.
